While we will always try and accommodate you, the earlier you place your order the better as you won’t have any availability issues. You can then choose to collect your order from any of our stores in Glasgow, Prestwick or Edinburgh, whichever is more convenient for you. You can also choose to have your outfits delivered and we will make sure you get everything at least 4 days before your event. This is to ensure you have time to try everything on and that you are happy with the fit. It also gives us time to send you any replacements if any are needed.   When should I order the kilt outfit for my wedding? When buying a kilt or full outfit, delivery timescales can be up to 14 weeks, depending on the time of year. For that reason, if you are planning on buying your wedding outfit, it’s vital that you speak to us as early as possible. All of our kilts, trews, trousers, and jackets are made-to-order by our master kiltmakers. As a result, the process of making your outfit takes time, but it’s well worth the wait. However, if you need your outfit sooner, we also offer our Express Kilt Outfit and Express 8 Yard Kilt options, both of which can be made and delivered in under 4 weeks. These are ideal solutions for those working with shorter timelines but still wanting a high-quality, made-to-order kilt. The accessories you choose for your wedding outfit aren’t just there to complete your highlandwear look, they are an important expression of your own personal style and taste. For this reason, you should spend a decent amount of time making sure you find your ideal choices. However, it’s important to note that depending on what you order, there may be a bit of a lead time that you need to factor into your wedding planning. Items like sporrans, engraved sgian dubhs, and plaid brooches aren't always stock items. Tartan accessories like handfasting ribbons and tartan hip flasks are made-to-order and will also take some time to craft. As a rule of thumb, we recommend allowing up to 5 weeks for tartan items and up to 4 weeks for all other accessories. Once you place your order our team will be able to give you a more accurate estimate of how long it will take to get your accessories delivered, but working to these lead times will help mitigate any disappointment.
