We are delighted to have worked with the Glasgow Children Hospital Charity to develop their own bespoke tartan, celebrating their 25th anniversary. A range of products in the Glasgow Children's Hospital tartan are now available to purchase through the charity's website.

If you are looking for something made-to-order in the new tartan, you can explore our vast range from kilts to accessories here. If you would like more information on the tartan or other products available, give our team a call on 0141 280 3398 or fill in the contact form below.

All of the proceeds from the sale of Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity tartan products go directly to the charity.

Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity Tartan

The charity decided that designing their own tartan would be the perfect way to celebrate their 25th anniversary. The team worked closely with our in-house tartan designer to create their unique weave. The tartan incorporates the purple tones from the charity's logo, along with some soft greys and white. The result is an eye-catching tartan that is immediately recognisable as the charity.

To celebrate the launch, the charity had kilts and tartan trews made for some of the hospital's long running staff members and even their mascot Kami Bear got his own kilt! We also made tartan hats for the charity's mini teddy bears for their annual Kami Bear Trail. We can't wait to see what's next for this special tartan.

Glasgow Children's Hospital Partnership

We are proud to have supported the Glasgow Children's Hospital over the years as our main charity partner. The charity was formed in 2001 to support the children and families treated at Glasgow's Royal Hospital for Children. Their mission is to provide children with the best care possible during some of the most difficult times in their lives and we never fail to be amazed by the brilliant work they do.

Every year, we encourage our staff and customers to put on our kilts and take part in the Glasgow Kilt Walk to support the charity. In the lead-up to the event, we run a kilt hire promotion where a significant portion of the revenue generated is donated to the charity.

On special occasions like Burns Night or Tartan Day, we run tartan workshops for kids at the hospital itself. These sessions give the children (and sometimes their parents and nurses too!) the chance to unleash their creativity by designing their own tartan patterns while learning about Scotland's rich history.

Our teams also do their best to get involved with fund raising events around the festive period such as volunteering at the charity's pop-up stores.
