Kilt Shop In London

London has a population of roughly 8.9 million people which is about 3 million more people than that of the entire population of Scotland. London is a multinational city that draws people in from all over the world, including from Scotland. There are a large number of Scots or people with a Scottish connection that live in London and for that reason, in 2015, MacGregor and MacDuff decided to open our London Fitting Service. The lack of traditional Highlandwear shops in London is understandable but what that meant was Scottish-London residents would have to travel back to Scotland every time they wanted to hire a kilt or buy a new outfit, which wasn’t very practical. Our London Kilt Fitting Service closes that gap in the market and we are now able to offer the people of London genuine, handcrafted, Made-In-Scotland highlandwear from our London base in Shoreditch.Our Kilt Fitting Service is designed for people who are looking to hire or buy a kilt outfit. The service is by appointment only so that we can spend enough time getting to know our customers' requirements. Our expert stylists walk each customer through all their options, from tartan choice to jacket style to accessories matching. Our stylists also take all the necessary measurements to ensure the kilt fits perfectly. The entire fitting service is formatted in the exact same way that our stores are, which gives our customers an authentic Scottish experience but in the heart of London. Once our fitting is complete, all measurements, choices and details are sent back to MacGregor and MacDuff HQ in Glasgow where our kiltmakers get to work. Once the outfit is ready, it is sent via courier to our customer down in London or wherever they live in the UK. Our London fitting service has become so popular that people from outside of London plan trips to the capital around their kilt fitting appointment. This isn’t a problem for us as we can deliver hire packages anywhere in mainland UK and we ship our handcrafted kilt outfits anywhere in the world. Our London Kilt Fitting Service currently runs one weekend a month at the Courthouse Hotel in Shoreditch.
