What Should You Wear to a Burns Supper?

Every year on January 25th, people worldwide commemorate the incredible life and work of Robert Burns. The inaugural Burns Night was held in 1801, five years after his death, by a group of his close friends at the Burns Cottage in Alloway. The evening consisted of various performances and speeches, accompanied by a classic haggis dinner. The first Burns Supper was so well-received that the group decided to make it an annual event, henceforth celebrated each year on Burns' birthday.

For centuries, the Burns Supper has remained true to its roots. Dressed in their finest kilt outfits, attendees listen to a variety of speeches and poems while enjoying haggis and whisky. It's a formal occasion that's also incredibly fun, and one that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.
