Prince Charlie Kilt Jacket and Vest

MM20-PCV001
£475.00

The timeless Prince Charlie kilt jacket is the most traditional and formal style of kilt jacket.

The traditional way of wearing the Prince Charlie is with a three-button waistcoat and a bow tie – an outfit that has always been the go-to for black tie events and formal dinners.

Made to the highest quality, the jacket and waistcoat are expertly crafted from 19oz Barathea wool and is extremely long-lasting. This distinctive jacket is designed with chrome buttons, crail cuffs, twisted epaulettes, satin lapels, a short-cut body and tails at the back.

The kilt jacket should always be worn open so that the detailing on the waistcoat is visible and should be worn with a dress sporran that has the same finish as the buttons.

There is an option to upgrade to antique or black buttons to add another contemporary twist to your outfit.

Book an Online Appointment

From choosing your tartan to self-measuring, book an online appointment with one of our stylists who will walk you through each step of buying this outfit.

Measuring Guide

When measuring for your jacket and waistcoat, your chest measurement should be taken across the widest part of your chest. This should be a loose measurement taken from under the arms and over the shoulder blades. When taking your chest measurement, your arms should hang loosely at your sides for the most natural measurement. We will also require your sleeve length for your jacket. When measuring your sleeve length, measure from the edge of your shoulder down to your wrist and where your jacket cuff would sit.
