Tarbert Tweed Kilt Jacket and Waistcoat

MM21-TARB001
£500.00
Unique to MacGregor and MacDuff, the Tarbert Tweed Jacket and Waistcoat was originally designed to be an accompaniment to the Harris Mist tartan, however it pairs equally well with a wide range of other clan and universal tartans.

Made from Tarbert green Arrochar wool, this jacket is comfortable and durable while looking stylish and contemporary. It features single-button cuffs and a double-button front. The buttons are brown imitation staghorn which matches the colour of the jacket seamlessly.

The jacket comes with a matching five-button, black-backed waistcoat which gives you the versatility to choose between a ruche tie, bow tie or straight tie when styling your outfit.

Our exclusive Harris Mist tartan is a great match for this jacket but there are a number of other tartans, particularly muted and hunting tartans, that also pair very well with it. The Tarbert green is also a brilliant colour for matching accessories as it works equally well with brown and black brogues, sporrans and sgian dubhs. This means that with a simple change of accessories, you can have a completely different outfit look.

We recommend you wear your kilt jacket open so that the detailing of the waistcoat is visible. As the Tarbert tweed jacket has a modern suite-style cut, it can be dressed up with a bow tie for a formal soirée or down with a tartan straight tie for casual occasions, making it perfect for every event. Our Tarbert Tweed Jacket and Waistcoat is the perfect choice for every event.

Measuring Guide

When measuring for your jacket and waistcoat, your chest measurement should be taken across the widest part of your chest. This should be a loose measurement taken from under the arms and over the shoulder blades. When taking your chest measurement, your arms should hang loosely at your sides for the most natural measurement. We will also require your sleeve length for your jacket. When measuring your sleeve length, measure from the edge of your shoulder down to your wrist and where your jacket cuff would sit.
