Summer has landed at our flagship store in Glasgow’s city centre and our window has had a wonderful makeover to match. Keep reading to see our latest window display come to life.
Helping make dream weddings a reality is at the heart of what we do so naturally our summer window display had to pay tribute to our couples tying the knot this wedding season. Our team have created a romantic scene of bride and groom, nestled amongst stunning Scottish scenery.
The groom is wearing our newest outfit combination, our Jura Mist tartan paired with our Jura Brown Tweed Jacket and Waistcoat. The earthy, soft tones of this ensemble match a variety of wedding themes and are the ultimate blend of traditional highlandwear style and modern flair. This outfit is available for both purchase and hire, making it an excellent choice for a groom’s party, and our Bath Street shop is the go-to location for kilt hire in Glasgow.
It’s the small details that can make a big difference on your special day so we made sure to add these touches to our window. The bride and groom hold handfasting ribbons which are an ancient tradition used to symbolise the joining together of two clans. This is actually where the phrase tie the knot originates from. Choose your family tartan or one that is special to you. Don’t forget a matching ring bearer cushion and bespoke embroidery as a unique keepsake.
Feeling inspired to get kilted up for your big day? The Kings of Kilts experience is just an appointment away.
