The biggest show on television stopped by Scotland’s finest kilt shop last week. We were delighted to welcome the stars of Strictly Come Dancing to our flagship store in Glasgow’s centre.
Dr Punam Krishan is one of this year's Strictly stars and is partnered up with professional dancer Gorka Márquez. A Glasgow local, Dr Punam couldn’t bring Gorka to Scotland without stopping by an authentic kilt shop.
The pair took a tour around our store, browsing our tartan, tweeds and accessories. Dr Punam shared some of the history and tradition of tartan with Gorka and how kilts and our national dress are seen as a celebration of Scottish culture.
Dr Punam encouraged Gorka to choose a tartan that he was drawn to and he chose our exclusive Arran Mist tartan. Gorka looked like a true Scot in our full kilt outfit, we hope it won’t be the last time we see him in our timeless tartan.
