Join us at the Arlo Soho Hotel between the 9th and 11th of October, where our expert highlandwear stylists will guide you through our extensive range of kilt outfits, tartans, and accessories in person.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR NYC FITTING

Your fitting will begin with a detailed discussion about your requirements and tartan options. At MacGregor and MacDuff we offer over 4,000 traditional and universal tartans. Once our stylist has discussed your tartan options, they will then walk you through our range of highlandwear outfits. From kilts to jackets to tartan trews, we have outfit options for any event or occasion. We will also help you choose your accompanying accessories to complete your highlandwear look.

Once you have decided on what you are buying, our stylist will take your measurements. This ensures that once you receive your outfit, it will fit perfectly straight out of the box.

Your fitting appointment will last for roughly an hour and once we have all of your choices inputted into our system, the team back in Glasgow will get started with your order. Depending on what you have ordered, the manufacturing process will take between 8 and 12 weeks to complete. Our stylist will be able to give you a more accurate estimate during your fitting but it’s important that you take these timeframes into consideration, especially if you have an event date in mind. Once everything has been made and passed quality control, your order will be packaged up and shipped directly to you. Throughout the process, our team will be in touch to give you updates and let you know when you can expect your delivery.

In 2005, MacGregor and MacDuff went global with our very first international sale, a Prince Charlie kilt jacket to a customer in America. We pride ourselves on superior quality, attention to detail and outstanding customer service, all of which have led to the business becoming a global success.

Kilts, Trews, and Highlandwear Accessories

At MacGregor and MacDuff, all of our kilts are made-to-measure with 100% worsted wool, tailored specifically to you and your tastes. We offer a range of over 4,000 traditional and modern tartans. These include the MacGregor and MacDuff exclusive tartans which have been designed to complement modern styles whilst still in-keeping with traditional values.

Is a kilt not for you? Tartan Trews and Tartan Trousers are a great alternative that still pays tribute to your Scottish heritage. They are traditionally worn with a Prince Charlie Jacket for formal events. They can be dressed up or down for all events, making them a great choice for anyone. Our Tartan Trews and Tartan Trousers are made-to-order to ensure a seamless fit and are available in a fishtail back as well as a traditional waistband. They are also available in any of our traditional or modern tartans.

Whether you prefer the traditional look of a Prince Charlie or think a modern Argyll looks best, we have a wide range of kilt jackets to complete your outfit. We also have our exclusive Lomond and Glen Orchy Tweed jackets which are only available from MacGregor and MacDuff. Whatever your preference is, your personal stylist will be able to suggest the best kilt jacket to complete your kilt outfit.
