At MacGregor and MacDuff, we love seeing all of you in our kilts. Whether it be a made-to-order kilt that you have wanted for a long time or the kilt you hired for your wedding day, we always enjoy seeing your photos and we think other people will too!
That's why we created our monthly King of Kilts competition, it allows all of us to see you in your finest highlandwear. Not to mention, giving you the chance to win a Free Kilt Hire worth up to the value of £150 and be crowned the King of Kilts for that month.
The rules are simple, just email us a photo of you in a MacGregor and Macduff kilt, tartan trews, trousers, or full highlandwear outfit to kingofkilts@macgregorandmacduff.co.uk with a brief description of who’s in the photo and what event you were attending. We will then post it on our Facebook page. Once the photo is live, get your friends and family to like and share the post as much as possible because at the end of the month, the post with the most likes, wins.
While winning a free outfit hire for your next event is a pretty good prize on its own, the real prize is being crowned the King of Kilts. Only 12 people can be crowned each year and to top it all off, each winner will be entered into the Ultimate King of Kilts competition at the end of the year. This is where the 12 winners have their photo reposted to our Facebook page and the one with the most likes at the end of the month is crowned The Ultimate King of Kilts for that year. The winner will also receive an engraved accessory of our choice.
The King of Kilts and Ultimate King of Kilts competition is only open to adults. Kids deserve their own platform to show off their highlandwear cuteness which is why we have the Prince of Kilts competition. The competition is strictly for kids and is held twice a year and the same rules as our King of Kilts competition apply. The winner of the Prince of Kilts will also receive a free kilt outfit hire and at the end of the year, there will also be an Ultimate Price of Kilts competition where the winner will also receive an engraved accessory.
Our King of Kilts and Prince of Kilts competitions are a fun way to show off highlandwear style and gain some bragging rights. Remember to enter by emailing kingofkilts@macgregorandmacduff.co.uk as entries via Facebook and Instagram messenger cannot be accepted due to privacy regulations.
