Christmas Kilt Shop

With a chill in the air and Christmas lights illuminating the streets, it’s time for the Kings of Kilts to raise the festive spirits! Every year, our visual merchandisers go above and beyond to create window displays that are sure to stop you in your tracks. We think this year’s Christmas displays might just be their best yet.

Kilt outfit for Christmas

Christmas is a time when our visual merchandising team can get even more creative. Each display is different in every store. This year, our flagship on Bath Street was inspired by the classic festive poem ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.’

Scottish master kiltmakers

We wanted to capture the excitement of the build up to Christmas. We also wanted to pay tribute to our wonderful kiltmakers who work tirelessly all year to create everything from kilts and trews to tartan treats that are perfect for under the Christmas tree.

Bath Street Kilt Shop

At MacGregor and MacDuff, we are striving to do all we can to be more sustainable and conscious of our impact on the environment. With this in mind, our visual merchandisers sourced this vintage sewing machine and table, repurposing and customising it rather than buying something new. We do the same with much of the furniture in our store. This is not only better for the environment, it is also a celebration of the expertise and craftsmanship of kiltmaking, after all, a kilt lasts for life.

Made in Scotland

Our Prestwick store has also had its Christmas makeover. The red post box and letters for Santa are a nostalgic nod, getting us thinking about what will be on our wish list this year. We certainly hope to be finding some tartan goodies in our stockings!

Kilt shop Prestwick

We love the crisp winter scene adorning the windows, hand painted by our team. It’s safe to say that the Prestwick display brings a lot of festive cheer to both our team members and locals each day as they pass.

Tartan gifts

If you find yourself Christmas shopping or on a winter walk nearby one of our stores, why not pop by to see the window displays for yourself? If you’re not feeling in the festive mood yet, they are sure to fill you with a little festive spirit.
