Celtic Bottom 2.5" Quaich with Highand Serpent Handles (QA2C CB)

This polished pewter Quiach combines an embossed Celtic design bottom with Highland serpent handles for a unique and modern twist on a classic Quaich.

A Quaich, Gaelic for ‘Cup’, has been used for centuries to symbolise the coming together of two clans, either in friendship or love. Tradition states that the two leaders of the clan would drink Whisky from the same Quaich as a symbol of trust and the relationship they now share.

A Quaich ceremony has remained a popular aspect of a Scottish wedding to celebrate the shared future of the married couple.

Quaichs aren’t only a special addition to a wedding ceremony, they are also unique, timeless gifts for members of the wedding party.

Celebrate a day you’ll never forget by gifting each of your wedding party this modern and arresting Celtic Bottom Serpent Quaich from MacGregor and MacDuff as a symbol of their role in your special day.

Quaichs are also great Christening gifts or as a gift for a special loved one with historic links to Scotland.

Measuring 2.5” in diameter, our quaichs are supplied in a classic gift box, and come with an information booklet.
